In January we welcomed Julie Philips, senior lecturer in floristry at Myerscough College who made a number of interesting designs and brought us up to date with the latest in floral design. Imagine our surprise to find that Constance Spry (1886- 1960) is the new guru and where the students are looking to for inspiration.
In February Rebecca Sanderson, one of our own members, will give an illustrated talk on how she transformed an neglected bit of garden into something really wonderful.
On 16th March, at 7.30pm in Hornby Institute, Sara Barrow will be our guest demonstrator. Sara is a former winner of one of the most coveted prizes for floral design….she is Chelsea gold medallist. her theme is spring.
Cost for the evening £4.00
